Sauteed Mushrooms


Units Scale
  • 1 package button mushrooms, washed and quartered
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Generous pinch of salt, or to taste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sherry


  1. In a medium saute pan, melt the butter and add the mushrooms and stir constantly until the mushrooms begin to shimmer.
  2. Add the salt, thyme, sherry and cream and cook for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens and mushrooms are cooked.
