Sautéed Sherry Mushrooms

- 1 package button mushrooms, washed and quartered
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- Generous pinch of salt, or to taste
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sherry
- In a medium saute pan, melt the butter and add the mushrooms and stir constantly until the mushrooms begin to shimmer.
- Add the salt, thyme, sherry and cream and cook for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens and mushrooms are cooked.
