Birria Ramen


Birria tacos and ramen soup are some of the most searched recipes and videos viewed on TikTok and Instagram right now. What better way to celebrate both by combining them into one recipe! I reinvented my traditional Birria Tacos recipe to create this simple and absolutely delicious Birria Ramen Soup, you can have dinner on the table in less than 10 minutes!

Units Scale
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups Birria Consommé
  • 2 packages Ramen noodles
  • 2 cups baby bok choy, packed
  • 1 cup oyster or shitake mushrooms
  • 1 cup peeled and sliced carrots
  • 1 tbsp sliced scallions


  1. Bring the broth to boil in a large stock pot.

  2. Meanwhile rinse the bok choy and slice in half. Gently wash the oyster mushrooms with a clean, damp cloth and peel and slice the carrots.

  3. Whisk in the birria consommé and carrots and bring to a simmer.

  4. Add the ramen noodles, bok choy and mushrooms, continue simmering for another two minutes.

  5. Turn off heat, spoon the noodles, broth and vegetables into bowls and garnish with scallions.
