Who doesn’t love meatloaf, mashed potatoes and steam green peas? This classic American dish is a family favorite, but it could use some refreshing! I took the leftovers I had from dinner and created this simple shepherd’s pie. It was featured on the national morning show, The Daily Buzz. I loved creating this simple one dish meal for my husband and kiddos and sharing it with tv land as well. Adding diced carrots and onions into the pan. If you’re using meatloaf you can skip this step because onions and garlic are already in there!
If you don’t finish a bottle of wine, don’t toss it out! Cork it and put it in the fridge until you have a recipe that calls for red or white wine.
